Pinkerton

Pinkerton is a male Tundra Dragon in Flight Rising who runs a stall at the Trading Post. He is the brother of Crim, another Trading Post vendor. Unlike his sister, who is cheerful and welcoming, Pinkerton wears a beleaguered expression and is a little brusque with the player.

Pinkerton believes that Crim's tendency to collect items in exchange for treasure is actually a hoarding problem, and will give players one random item from her "monstrous pile of stuff", once per day (to avoid her noticing that the items have gone missing). These items range from the mundane and commonplace, like single food items, to rare and exotic.

Pinkerton has a wide range of miscellaneous items he can give out. Many of the items that can be found in Rusted Treasure Chests, Iron Treasure Chests, and Gilded Decorative Chests are also items that can be received from Pinkerton. He can also give out various familiars and Apparel that can be purchased in the treasure Marketplace. Though out of all the possible items, a player is much more likely to get a one or two-star material item like twigs, rocks, sand, or bones. Ambush and Berserker battle stones are also relatively common items to get.

There are some items that can be obtained from Pinkerton's pile and nowhere else except for the randomized treasure chests: Rusted Treasure Chests, Iron Treasure Chests, and Gilded Decorative Chests.

Trivia

• One of Tomo's questions is "What color dragon is Pinkerton the Plunderer?" and the answer is "Sand and Midnight", revealing he has a basic Sand primary, and a basic Midnight secondary.
• Pinkerton is from Fire Flight.
• Pinkerton's left horn is broken. Apparently, there are rumors that Crim broke it off and stored it away.
• He appears to wear a Time-turner's Sandglass and Journeyman Satchels. Peeking out from behind his wings is a Stuffed Mith doll.
• Pinkerton's old art is one of the images featured in the Jigsaw game in the Fairgrounds:

• Users have claimed in the past to have gotten Unhatched Eggs, Eliminates, and various shiny star familiars from the pile. These types of items cannot be obtained through Pinkerton. Whether these types of items were actually available in the past is unknown.
• On his art refresh, the sign to the left of him seems to depict him and Crim arguing.
