Joxar[1] is a male Mirror dragon who runs the Festive Favors shop. He has an unlimited amount of the items he sells (except for Spare Inventory Crates), but they only are available during an elemental holiday, when the shop is open for business. When the holiday has ended, the shop will close until the next holiday.
The main Festive Favors shop only accepts holiday currency, acquired by gathering items in the element currently being celebrated. Any gathering type can yield holiday currency in addition to items you normally receive during gathering turns.[2] Joxar's Spare Inventory shop only accepts Prismatic Tokens, a special holiday currency that is only acquired through Spare Inventory Crates.[3]
Holiday-themed merchandise is usable by all dragons. This is to encourage other flights to celebrate the element that is active. The merchandise sold within the main shop typically consists of a flight emblem, a large piece of apparel for your dragon, an elemental holiday familiar, and a smaller, themed piece of apparel. The smaller piece of apparel can sometimes be other themed items, like in 2016-2017 when it was holiday themed vistas instead.
Joxar's Spare Inventory
Joxar's Spare Inventory was introduced during the Brightshine Jubilee of 2017. It is a separate tab to Festive Favors that allows each player to purchase one Spare Inventory Crate each holiday for a sum of 80,000 treasure. Players may also spend Prismatic Tokens here to purchase recolors of retired holiday items (referred to as 'color variant items').[4]
Joxar greets the player saying, "Can't get enough of festivals? Me neither! In fact, I've actually got way too many party favors laying around! Every festival, I can sell you one of my Spare Inventory Crates as well as offer a selection of color variant items. Have a look, there's something for everyone!"
Currently Joxar has 17 color variant items available for purchase when open - 6 apparel and 11 familiars. Starting Riot of Rot 2017, 2 additional apparel recolors will be introduced for purchase and will be added to the Spare Inventory Crate during the holiday as well.[5]
