This item can only be found during the annual Night of the Nocturne in December. During this time it can be obtained from:
- Baldwin's Bubbling Brew: can randomly be found when collecting the result of transmuting an item.
- Breeding Dragons: can randomly be found when breeding dragons or hatching nests.
- Bonding: can randomly be found when bonding with familiars.
- Coliseum: drops rarely from all monsters in all venues.[1] It is a common drop in the following venues:
- Training Fields, from Smoldering Sconces
- Woodland Path, from Painted Marionettes
- Sandswept Delta, from Brass Knockers
- Silk-Strewn Wreckage, from Crystal Curiositys
- Bamboo Falls, from Ensorcelled Volumes

- Boreal Wood, from Overwatered Seedlings
- Crystal Pools, from Articulated Fidget Toys
- Mire, from Living Statues

- Crim's Collection Cart: can randomly be found when trading her an item.
- Exalting Dragons: can randomly be found when exalting a dragon.
- Gathering: can be found via any gathering type, at any level, in any element.
- Pinkerton's Plundered Pile: can randomly be found when retrieving an item from his pile.
- Swipp's Swap Stand: can randomly be found when making a swap at his stand.
- Tomo's Trivia Tablet: can randomly be found when answering a question correctly.
Usage[]
- Food: can be converted into food points through your hoard to feed your dragons; gives 3
points per item converted. - Higgins' Haunted Hollow: during the Night of the Nocturne, can be traded in Higgins' Haunted Hollow for:
- Strange Chest (45 Cuckoos and 20 Leporidae Guises)
- Vista: Cursed Dice (1 Strange Chest, 18 Night Flames, and 20 Cuckoos)
- Baldwin's Bubbling Brew: can be transmuted into a random color of goo, and is part of the required items for several Night of the Nocturne-exclusive Baldwin recipes:
- Level 7 – Origami Steward (1 Silver Muck, 10 Cuckoos, 2 Green Sludge, 1 Glass Beaker, 4,000
) - Level 11 – Murderous Presence (1 Grey Slime, 5 Cuckoos, 10 Mimic Powder, 2,000 )
